Volunteers offer their expertise and experience free of charge, but donations are always welcome. Access to a variety of resources  e.g. Ancestry, International Genealogical Index on microfiche, Cemetery Headstone Inscriptions, back issues of "The Blairgowrie Advertiser" are also free, but there is a charge (25p per credit) for the use of www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. We don't claim success in every case, but we do our best, and always respect the confidential nature of your research.

From 2017 the Genealogy Centre will be part of the VisitScotland Ancestral Welcome Scheme.
